Synopsis
Yosef, a young refugee trying to get by in Switzerland, finds himself stuck in a tough spot. His only option for work is delivering food on his bike, facing long hours and harsh conditions. Desperate to change his situation, he crosses paths with Zurich's most dangerous bike courier gang. They see biking as more than just a job – it's their whole lifestyle, their purpose. “Velo Gang” is inspired by the biker B-movies from the 1960s. It examines the image we have of nonconformists in today’s gig economy. It not only questions genre conventions but also the way we think about charity, success, and privilege.
